The Sanctuary of Truth

An all-wood building filled with sculptures based on traditional Buddhist and Hindu motifs. The top of the building is 105 meters high. The project was initiated as an idea of Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphant in 1981, and is scheduled to be complete in 2050.

The style of the sanctuary evokes Khmer architecture, displaying hand-carved wooden sculptures indicative of the imperial setting at Angkor. It has four gopura, respectively representing images from the Buddhist and Hindu religions and mythologies of Cambodia, China, India and Thailand. It’s purpose is to use art and culture as “a reflection of the Ancient Vision of Earth, Ancient Knowledge, and Eastern Philosophy. Within this complex, visitors will understand Ancient Life, Human Responsibility, Basic Thought, Cycle of living, Life Relationship with Universe and Common Goal of Life toward Utopia”.

So what are binaural beats?

Binaural beats can naturally move your brain to a calmer, lower frequency. When your brain hears two different tones in each ear, it will make up the difference with an imagined tone. In other words, if you hear 400hz in one ear and 410hz in the other, your brain will create an imaginary 10hz. That imaginary beat is the binaural beat.

If you find it difficult to calm your mind after a stressful day, you can listen to tracks with binaural beats that will slow your brain. As your brain creates the frequency, it alters your brainwaves, and you become calmer as a result. Adding in breath-work brings your body and mind into a completely meditative state.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is an umbrella term for various New Age practices in which the conscious control of breathing is meant to influence mental, emotional and physical state; sometimes to claimed therapeutic effect. Breathwork can cause distress and has no proven positive health impact other than perhaps promoting relaxation.
